Chris Anderson has spent more than 40 years playing trumpet in NYC, touring and recording. He began his career in the world of Latin Music playing with many greats including Ray Barretto, Celia Cruz and Hector Lavoe. He has played lead trumpet for Illinois Jacquet, Ben E. King, New York Rock and Soul Review with Donald Fagen, The Allman Brothers (10 years as horn arranger and lead trumpet for The Beacon Theater residency), Jon Bon Jovi, Michael Bolton, Bruce Springsteen and countless others, famous and infamous. He was an original band member and horn arranger for the hit Off Broadway show Beehive and has been onBroadway in Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk, Swing, and Movin’ Out. He is a member of S’Killit led by the incredible Rusty Cloud. He is the co-founder of NewYork Horns with John Isley. They have 2 CDs available, Tunnel Vision 1999 and New York Horns 2014.Since 1998 he has been playing, arranging horn parts and recording with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes (more fun than anybody deserves). Rob Susman has been a member of The Chico O’Farrill Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra,The Duke Ellington Legacy Band, the Juilliard Jazz Sextet, Jay and the Americans, and The Symphonic Brass Alliance (representing Carnegie Hall Citywide).He has performed with Tito Puente, Clark Terry, Branford Marsalis, The Allman BrothersBand, Chaka Kahn, Idina Menzel, La India, Liza Minnelli and Broadway Orchestras. He has given master classes at Brooklyn College, The Mannes School of Music, and New York University. He can be heard on dozens of commercially released recordings and nationally televised commercials. His quartet was a New York Times‘Best FreeSpectacle’ pick for the 2024 holiday season.He has arranged music for PBS’s ‘Reading Rainbow’ The Imani Winds, The BostonBrass and the Oberlin Conservatory Horn Octet. He has had world premiers in GubbioItaly, Honolulu Hawaii, and with the N.Y.U. Orchestra. He currently has five recordingsfeaturing original works with groups he directed, Top Secret Lab, Funk Shui NYC,NoNoNonet, Tri Boro Trio, and his self titled debut.

Dan Asher has been busy performing and teaching in the New York area since graduating from Lawrence University in 2001. His active schedule has included performances at legendaryvenues such as Birdland, the Blue Note, Smalls and the55 Bar, covering a wide range of music, mainly Rock, R&B, Jazz and everything in between. As an in demand sideman on electric and upright bass, he has performed with artists such as Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes,keyboardist David Bryan and Jay Oliver and trumpet legend Shunzo Ono. He also performswith renowned gospel and blues artist Alexis P Suter as well as the acoustic outfit Caravan of Thieves at numerous festivals in the northeast as well as in Canada.Most recently he was part of the Wheels of Soul tour with Gabe Dixon, while also having the chance to perform with theTedeschi Trucks Band and Los Lobos. He currently lives in the Bronx, New York.

Tony Romano has been a visible part of the New York City music scene for over twenty-five years. Just Jazz Guitar magazine wrote “His tone is beautiful and soulful, and his remarkable technique is a servant to his rich musical imagination and broad harmonic palette.” With a wide range of playing styles, Tony has toured worldwide and performed and recorded with an eclectic array of artists, including Randy Brecker, Joe Locke, Michael Feinstein, Bill Warfield, Steve LaSpina, Joe Bataan, Dave Valentin, Candido Camero, Chembo Corniel, Yomo Toro, Joel Frahm, Thomas Chapin, Brit Woodman, Santi DeBriano, Paul Bollenback, Stanley Jordan, Debbie Gibson, Kat Gang, Aimee Allen, François Moutin, Alex Gemignani, and Chuck Cooper. Tony’s guitar work can be heard on all 52 episodes of the BBC series 3rd & Bird as well as the Discovery Channel miniseries Going, Going, Gone! He has also performed for NPR broadcasts, and has appeared on NBC’s The Today Show, Telemundo, and the ABC Morning Show. Tony teaches at Riverdale Country School, is an Adjunct Professor at Five Towns College, and has been a Teaching Artist for the Kupferberg Center at Queens College as well as an instructor for the National Guitar Workshop.
